FAMILY CONNECTION-7PM: July

SUMMER
BROWN BAG FELLOWSHIP: Join
us for a family fellowship time every Wednesday here at the church starting at
6:00PM. Pick up some fast food, or bring
your home-cooked meal to eat with others at the church (plates, utensils, etc.
will not
be provided, so come prepared). Enjoy
fellowship time with other families, then join with us for the Wednesday evening
service from 7:00-8:15PM where both adults and children are learning principles
from the Old Testament.

KID’S LIFE SUMMER PROGRAM: Kid’s
LIFE has a program for kids a ges 3-8 during the summer months. Older children are encouraged to attend
service with their parents. CHILDREN
OF THE KING: Children’s
Choi r for 2nd grade through 6th grade, Wednesday evenings during Bible Study in
Door #6. Younger children are learning
to play the handbells.

11—Like to Hike? Meet
at 9:30AM at the park just east of 128th & Zuni. We’ll be taking an easy hike from there, but if
your kids would prefer to stay at the park, we’ll meet back for lunch. Bring sunscreen and a picnic
lunch.
July
18—Movie Morning! Meet
at 10AM at Cherie’s home (4960 W. 116th Court, north of church). We’ll be watching Peter Pan and there will
be a Kids’ Concession to purchase low-priced snacks to enjoy during the
movie.
July
25—Pool Party! We’ll
meet at Cherie’s neighborhood pool again for brunch at 9:30AM Swimming is FREE, just bring a brunch dish to
share.
August
1—Fountain Fun! Let’s
meet at the AMC Promenade fountains at 10AM.
Bring your sunscreen, beach towel, and picnic
lunch.
CANDLELIGHT
DINNER THEATER: Everyone
is invited to an evening of fun on July 25.
The
Music Man is
playing at the new Candlelight Dinner Theater (north on I-25 at the Johnson’s
Corner exit). This is an old fashioned
show with really good food (great family ente rtainment for all ages). Please see Ed Balogh at the 50+ Booth to get
prices and to sign up.
50+: The
old-fashioned 50+ fun we have is priceless, but high gas prices are a
reality. To continue future church bus
transportation, donations up to $5.00 per couple are suggested. So
plan ahead and mark your calendar for our upcoming historical Denver tour to the
Forney Transportation Museum, Saturday, July 19. Departure time will be
confirmed later.
SUMMER
LADIES’ BIBLE STUDIES: Research
Bible study on the book of Esther
is
on Thursdays at 9AM and 6:30PM at the church. Nursery
is provided at the morning study only.
Moms4Life
Book Study
is
held at Vickie Larson’s home (2983 E. 136th Place, Thornton, 80602)
Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00AM. We are studying Heaven
at Home
by Ginger Plowman. Cost for the book is
$12. There is no charge at this study
for childcare; instead, attenders will take turns watching kids. Call Amy Walker @303-288-3299 for more
information or directions.

(100% of th e profits go to Doulos).

THE
CROSSINGS MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY:
We
have opportunities to serve at The Crossings (Smith Road) on July 31 and August
14 from 5:00-7:30PM. Stop by the
Information Booth to sign up.
FAITH
DAY AT THE ROCKIES: Stop
by the Information Booth to sign up for a fun day at the baseball par k. We currently have 30 seats reserved for the
Colorado Rockies MLB game on August 10 against the San Diego Padres. More tickets can be reserved if you sign up
soon. This price includes a Steven
Curtis Chapman concert. Several of the
Rockies will also give their testimonies.
Tickets have been discounted from $38—we pay only $15 per ticket! This game starts at 1:00PM. We recommend going to lunch after church and
then heading down to the park.
