"Children are a gift from God, they are a reward from Him." Psalm 127:3
At LIFE Fellowship, we strive to provide a clean, safe and nurturing environment for your precious little ones.
Our nurseries are offered during the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services; during the Tuesday morning Women's Bible study; and during special services. The men and women on our committed staff are eager to show God's love to your baby through their gentle loving care. We want you, the parent, to enjoy service and Sunday School without distraction or worry.
Nursery Locations
Our nurseries are all located on the first floor and are divided according to the following ages:
- Infants (0 to walking) - room #1 on the west side of the atrium
- A private area is available for nursing mothers in the infant nursery.
- Toddlers (Walkers to 2 years) - room #4 on the west side of the atrium
- 2 Year olds - room #12 on the east side of the atrium
Health Guidelines
We desire to provide a safe and healthy environment for all children visiting our nurseries. Please keep your child at home if he or she has exhibited any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Unknown Rash
- Excessive Coughing
- Yellow or Green Runny Nose
- Open or Draining Wounds
- Chicken Pox or Measles
- Pink Eye
If your child is being treated with an antibiotic, please feel free to utilize our nurseries after 24 hours of treatment.
Cleanliness & Safety
We are determined to provide a clean and safe environment for your child. Toys are removed from the play area once they are played with and mouthed on by another baby. These toys are properly cleaned each week before they are returned to the nursery. The caregivers take great care in paying attention to cleanliness; they wash their hands frequently during each shift, and the diaper changing table is sterilized between each change. Other equipment such as swings, walkers, playpens, etc. are wiped down frequently as needed.
We have a policy at LIFE Fellowship that there are always 2 or more caregivers in each room at all times.
Labels and Security
We ask that you label your child’s diaper bag and belongings (bottles, cups, blankets, clothing, etc.). Labels and permanent markers are provided in the hallways for your convenience. For the safety and happiness of our children, please avoid going in and out of our nurseries.
Snacks
Snacks will be given to children in our nurseries. If your child has an allergy, please be sure to inform the volunteers. Orange labels are available for any "special Instructions" that the staff should be informed about.
Check-In & Check-Out
When you visit any of our three nurseries, you will be asked to fill out helpful information about your child on the sign-in sheet. Information includes:
- Child's Name and birthdate
- Parents' Names
- Where You can be Located
- Description of diaper bag
A numbered nametag will be placed on your child, and you will be given a corresponding security tag.
Please do not lose this tag.
Nursery volunteers require this tag to release your child after the service. Please do not ask our volunteers to make exceptions to this policy. It is designed to insure that our precious children are released to their parents (or other authorized ) only. If, while the child is in our care, we need to contact you, your child's number will be displayed on the two visual pagers in the sanctuary. If you have indicated on the sign-in sheet that you will be in Sunday School, we will come and get you.
Once you consider yourself a regular attender, we ask that you fill out a registration card for your child. We will keep this on record.
On behalf of the entire nursery staff, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for entrusting the care of your child to us. We consider it an awesome privilege. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact Kim Gilmer.
