Genuine Biblical Counseling From God's Word
One of the points emphasized by LIFE Fellowship is the total sufficiency of God's written Word for life and godliness. We also believe that God's Word teaches that it is totally sufficient for helping those who are in need, from depression to marriage counseling to life-dominating sin. Obedience to God's Word with accountability to fellow believers in Jesus Christ can be the solution to virtually any non-medical problem a person may have. LIFE Fellowship offers Biblical Counseling by appointment only Monday-Thursday during regular office hours. Members of LIFE Fellowship have top priority for counseling, and all other persons must be in regular verifiable attendance in either our church or their own home church.
Counseling is provided at the discretion of the LIFE Fellowship counseling staff and generally calls for the counselee to do homework and study. Only persons who are willing to do whatever God's Word calls for and stay with it can be helped by Biblical Counseling, but for those who are willing to do whatever it takes to resolve a problem, there is no better solution on earth than obedience to God's Holy Word.
LIFE Fellowship has taken a stand against the ungodly practices of psychology and so-called "Christian Counseling," which integrates psychology into the counseling process. LIFE Fellowship believes that the only true "expert" with total insight into the human psyche is God Himself, and His plan for us is clear in His Word.
