ABOUT US

LIFE Fellowship is a unique family Bible church where the traditional and contemporary come together in a gentle loving balance.

This is a place where former Baptists and Catholics, Methodists and Lutherans, charismatics and main-line Protestants have joined together to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. It's a place where young people and mature adults sit side by side to study the Scriptures verse by verse.

In a day of moral relativism and political correctness, you will find LIFE Fellowship to be firm on Biblical principles while gentle in attitude and tone of voice. It's a place where you will hear the rustle of Bible pages being turned as believers check the teachings with our final authority, God's Word.

LIFE Fellowship, founded in 1979, has grown from a small group of committed Christians to an exciting congregation of about 1000 people on a large site at 115th and Sheridan Blvd. in Westminster, Colorado, a suburb north of Denver.

Meeting in rented facilities from movie theaters to high schools, LIFE Fellowship ministered to the North Metro Dever area for nearly 14 years before phase one of our own facility was completed in 1993. Subsequently, a new atrium and foyer were added and our west wing was completed, containing our educational complex which houses our nursery, additional restrooms, classrooms, TV and radio studio, LIFE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, and our administrative offices. Our east wing is the latest section completed, providing additional classroom space, offices, kitchen and our Christian daycare center.

The ministry of LIFE Fellowship has expanded its ministry in recent years through Return to the Word, our daily live call-in radio program which focuses on Biblical counseling, the sufficiency of God's Word and exposes the flaws of psychology and other non-biblical philosophies.

Additional expansions to our ministry include TruthQuest, a children's worship service which was created and developed right here at LIFE Fellowship. Launched in 1998, TruthQuest has been a big hit with kids and is now being used in more than 100 churches nation-wide and internationally.

While our services are lively and exciting, there is a quiet spiritual depth that comes from a firm commitment to the doctrines and practical application of the Bible. We actually believe 2 Peter 1:3, where it says, "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness."

Look through our web site and we think you will see a unique church making a difference at home and across the world. We invite you to come and be a part of this exciting ministry. For more information, call our office at 303-451-LIFE.

The Elders of LIFE Fellowship serve as the counselors and advisers for our pastor and staff. Their primary responsibility is to protect the doctrinal integrity of our church and to encourage and support our staff as they lead the growing ministries. Each of these men serve LIFE Fellowship in other capacities as well: teachers, tech coordination, administration, and more.

They have some 150 years of combined involvement in the ministries of LIFE Fellowship, and we are indebted to them for their sacrificial and humble service for the Lord at this local church.

We are currently training a group of younger men as Deacons. Their main role is service (Acts 6) and helping as undershepherds. Some will eventually be chosen to serve as Elders. When the training is completed, these men will be presented to the church for affirmation in their new role as Deacons.
